Pre-production Log: Mettings

The first meeting let me get a second opinion on some of the casting options and if they were comfortable wit the casting i had given the actors that attended the meeting along with helping with scheduling, seeing which days they were free to do the scenes their involved with

The second meeting was a basic check up on when everyone i needed for the next scenes where free for filming and such which gave me an idea of scheduling to for everyones free time

The third and final meeting was to discus and plan a specific scene which wasting to be difficult so i asked one of the crew members for ideas and their input to add which they did and offered some of their own equipment, i then discussed the scene with the two of the main actors and for their input in making it seem more natural by giving notes on the script and went over it with them

Pre-production Log: Contributor Release Forms

I then got the permission of the main actors and crew that would be involved in the film which allowed me to see who's ok with being filmed and are ready to be 100% involved rather than only wanting to do 1 day of filming and not be that committed which helped with casting and the shooting

Pre-production Log: Shooting Schedule

Once the script was done i knew the number scenes i had and an idea of the way they would be shot so then began on making a schedule factoring in the time of day and the use of locations to order them making the process more efficient and considering lunch breaks and the time it will take to film each scenes not putting to much work in one day so its not too much of a strain on the cast and crew so everyone is comfortable and still enjoying themselves while filming not making it a chore which improves moral and team work which automatically improves the quality of the film in my opinion

Pre-production Log: Permissions for Filming

I then got permission for filming using the chosen location as Kid's house which allowed me to see where all the scenes will be shot and where the camera will be and the positioning of the actors and have a set location which is a relief to not worry about looking for a random location and rushing to film everything getting permission allows me to have a say about the timing of the filming.

Pre-production Log: Budget Planning

Now having an idea of what the scenes and what they would include i then knew what i would need for certain scenes to make them seem realistic and the way i want for example fake blood or actors to spit out during the fight scenes and going through this allowed me to see what i would need and the cost of the props and such

Pre-production Log: Health and Safety/Risk Assessment

I then filled out the risk assessment sheets going through all the possible dangers that may accuse during the process of filming, outlining them and seeing how i could prevent or bring any risk to a minimum for the benefit of the cast and crew's safty
